From enemies to friends; there are many a wonderful ducks, geese and swans that I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with. This one was perhaps the most special, or at least one of the most trusting. She was a pretty lady, and for the small price of a tidbit of food she’d come sit on my lap. Quite special, having a semi-wild duck clambering over your legs. She was my friend for six years. In that time I’ve seen her grow up with her brothers and sisters, then find a mate, and finally have ducklings of her own.
